Gwyn Gordon clinic

This past weekend I got to take Dually to one of the Stanford Equestrian Team clinics with Gwyn Gordon. I've gotten to take a few lessons with Gwyn through the team, and was especially excited to get to ride my own horse! Dually was super excited for his first jumping outing of 2009, and was a star throughout. It was nice to work over smaller fences to get the rideability (not always Dually's strong point!!) cemented - hopefully I will be able to carry that ride over to the bigger stuff in the next few weeks as we get into gear!

Also, a little taste from the high school show that Stanford hosted a few weeks ago: I am the lone eventer in a sea of equitation riders... as my grey and white skull cap only too obviously broadcasts! Warm up riding is one of my favorite parts of high school/IHSA showing, especially that day when I got to ride the adorable Cooper! (15.1hh on a good day haha)
